The Yangshuo Mountain Retreat exceeded all expectations. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location on the river is even more beautiful than the pictures. On arrival you are greeted and your bags taken to your room ? whilst you book in. Continue reading..

Every single one of the staff without exception were friendly, helpful and courteous - they are a credit to the hotel. Continue reading..

Superb views over the river from most rooms. Friendly and helpfull staff. Great area to explore on bikes. But unfortunately the new local rules regarding access to the area means that it is difficult to get to and from the hotel. No taxis or hotel cars are allowed in the area in the daytime. An expensive government shuttlebus is your only option and transport from the parkentrance where the bus stops is difficult. Continue reading..
